What’s more, transferring to IU is truly as easy as 1-2-3! Prospective students simply:

Admitted students are matched with personal advisors who will assist in developing degree plans to meet individual needs. After admissions counselors review submitted transcripts, they work with students to review existing credits and outline which courses are needed for degree completion.

In addition to open houses and information sessions, we offer a schedule of daily visits where you can take a tour of campus and meet with an admissions counselor.

Learn more about transfer credit
Based on your area of study, you may transfer some or all of your previous college credits, normally up to 64 credits (semester hour equivalency). Credits for courses with a grade of “C” or higher are transferable.
Hundreds of courses have already been reviewed and approved. Find your college and courses on this list of institutions. Please note that this is not a complete list; we are continuing to add to the database regularly. If you do not find your institution or the course you are looking for, your credits may still transfer to Immaculata.

Transfer Honor Roll
Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society (PTK) named Immaculata University to its 2023 Transfer Honor Roll in recognition of the dynamic pathways we have created to support community college transfer students.
Scholarships
Scholarships and other institutional grants are available depending on your GPA and family income.
In addition, we offer an Associate Degree Grant for community college graduates enrolled full time in the College of Undergraduate Studies. If you have an associate degree and a GPA of at least 2.5, you can earn a grant of $1,500 per year to help cover your additional two years of full-time study.
You will be automatically considered for the $1,500 once you submit your application. This grant will be in addition to other financial aid you may be awarded, such as academic and need-based scholarships. We understand the time and effort you put into getting your associate degree, and we want to reward you for your hard work.
Community College transfer students who are members of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society are eligible to receive an additional $1,000 scholarship. More information is available from Phi Theta Kappa.
